Last Will & Testament
Having a valid Will protects your loved ones and makes sure your wishes are followed. If any of the points below apply to you, a Will is essential.
See why you need a Will
Why You Must Have a Will
1If you have children — appoint guardians and manage how funds are used.
2If you have debt — clarify how debts are settled and what happens to assets.
3If you are divorced — update heirs and beneficiaries to reflect your current wishes.
4If you are pregnant or had a child recently — protect dependants from day one.
5If you are living together — cohabiting partners aren’t automatically treated as spouses.
6If you care for your family — a Will reduces uncertainty, delays and disputes.
Things You Should Know
1Divorce — change your Will within 3 months to avoid unintended outcomes.
2Living together — a partner is not legally regarded as a spouse by default.
3Children (no Will) — if you die intestate, funds for minors can be managed by the state/guardian’s fund.
4Guardianship (no Will) — a guardian may be appointed by the court/state if none is nominated.
5Debt & credit life cover — consider credit‑life insurance so debt doesn’t burden your estate or dependants.
